 This is the season for a lot of hoiday food cooking. Here are some tips to help keep your food (and you) safe: Wash hands often. When starting and when moving between raw and cooked foods.  Sanitize preparation surfaces and utensils at the same times you would wash your hands. Sanitizer can be made with 1 gallon water and 1 teaspoon unscented bleach. Keep hot food at 140 degrees or hotter. Keep cold foods at 40 degrees or colder. Your fridge should be set fo hold 40 degrees or less.

Did you know you can sign yourself up for Low Meal Account Balance Notices? Go to Skyward Links in the Left hand Column (of the school webpage). Click on Skyward Family Access. On the left hand side, click on email notifications. Check the box under the Food Service heading. This sends you emails when your child's meal account  balance is under $10.

Mornings can be really crazy…the alarm doesn’t go off…the kids don’t want to get up…there’s no time to eat breakfast before the bus comes…or they’re just not ready to eat. Or maybe your teenager grabs a can of soda and a candy bar on the way to school. If this sounds like your house, we have good news for you. Breakfast is served at school! School breakfast will give your child a healthy start to the day. A nutritious breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class. Breakfast has vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body.

Meal Applications can be filled out at anytime during the school year. Any time your income decreases or your household size increase you may want to check the income guideline (on the lower left under menus). Free & Reduced Priced Meal Applications are available at your school office and in the food service. The application is also attached on this page under the "K-8 Menu" (lower left corner). Please return them to the office, or the school food service, to the Attention of Ms. Tawnya White. Ms. White is available to help fill out applications and to answer any questions.
